About:
w3xLAN359.wordpress.com is an underground WC3:TFT map community written primarily in Bulgarian and occasionaly in English.
The blog centers around newly published free custom-made maps for the popular real-time strategy WarCraft III: The Frozen Throne, especially on multiplayer-oriented ones, like the famous Defense of the Ancients(DotA) map. Single player maps and comments on the hottest maps will also be featured.

What’s with the weird name?
Well, if you’re familiar with the aformentioned game, you’ll know why. OK — for those of you who don’t know — .W3X is an acronym for the W3X Warcraft 3 Expansion Map file extension which is used by all maps for the Frozen Throne. Custom maps for the TFT can be created using TFT’s WC3′s World Editor , JASS and additional tools made by modders can extend the editor’s functionality. The LAN part of the name is because we usually play WC3:TFT over LAN/Internet using Garena or alternatively over Headoff’s Private Battle.net server using Headoff’s WC3 Launcher. The 359 part is because the international call number for Bulgaria is +359. So, there you have it… all of that is explained.

What can you expect?
Well, we’ll feature custom WC3 maps that we think are worth checking, plus some articles regarding modding stuff around them.
Unfortunately, we won’t be updating(posting new articles) too often, but that shouldn’t be a problem because you can visit some great WC3 resources that we’ll list below soon.

Can I play with you, please? I’m also a mega NOOB!
Sure you can, we’re also noobs. We play mainly during the weekends. So, if you use the Garena client, you can occasionally find us in the following location:
1) Garena > Server 1 > War3 RPG section > Europe > Bulgaria > Bulgarian DotA Room 01-18 & all other rooms in that group.
2) Garena > Server 3 > War3 RPG section > Europe > Europe > Bulgarian DotA Room 01 – 14
We prefer to communicate in Bulgarian, but English is also OK, by the way.
Our nicknames in Garena are sahwar, Uplink-11, prototypelll, xakera113 & The_Dark_One, you can search if you can’t locate us right away.
